Liz Schiel, Owner

Liz Schiel is a California Certified Massage Therapist through the California Massage Therapy Council. She obtained her Massage Therapy training from the American Institute of Massage Therapy, having completed 1,029 hours of training with an emphasis in Sports Massage Therapy. Liz is a member of the Associated Bodywork of Massage Professionals and has also been trained in Contemporary Cupping Methods from the International Cupping Therapy Association.

Liz is a 2009 graduate of Miami University (OH) where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training, cum laude. Having worked 4 years as a student Athletic Trainer, Liz had the opportunity to work with various sports teams and develop hands on skills in injury assessment, rehabilitation, modalities, prevention, and administrative duties. Included in this was the opportunity to be the student Athletic Trainer with the 2008 MAC Champion Women's Basketball team, which was selected for the NCAA Women's Tournament.

Liz continued developing her Athletic Training skills as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Azusa Pacific University (Azusa, California) from 2009-2010 while pursuing her Master’s degree in Physical Education. This led to even more opportunities to develop and fine tune the skills necessary in the field of Sports Medicine. This included the opportunity to be the Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2010 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track National Champions.

As a young professional in the field of Massage Therapy, Liz strives to help each individual based on their specific wellness needs. Liz will bring her professionalism, ethics, and education to the massage therapy profession to meet the therapeutic needs of all individuals.
